Magic Rooms And Macarons

Holly writes:
Day 12

Today we went to the Maison de Magic (house of magic). There was a hall of illusions filled with mirrors that made it look like a loooooong way down, I looked though a pipe to Emma I stuck my hand in the break in the pipes but it didn't block Emma with my hand. Magic!

There was a room dedicated to Robert Houdini. It told us about his life and showed us a simple trick. Try it:
Pick a number in between 1-10,
Times it by 2.
Add 4,
Divide in half,
Then minus the number you picked off it,
I know your magic number! It's.......... 2

The day before we had booked a ticket to a magic show. It was a small story accompanied with music. Some tricks were, a woman floated, then she got in a box and a man stuck a load of sticks and boxes through it, but after she jumped out absolutely fine. For the show we had front row seats. James and Emma made sure of it.
After the exciting morning we came home had lunch and did some French study with books from the French school in Sancerre. Then we relaxed until 3:30 where we set out for a pâtisserie (bakery).
Where we got some amazing treats. As you can tell from, the picture below.

My one was the orange one but I wasn't a big fan. The macaron on top was delicious though. James got the flan vanille (vanilla tart), Emma got the meringue and Mum had the pink cake. Mum's cake was my favourite, inside it was creamy and raspberry.

This evening will be relaxing but long, at 10:30 (yes, it blew Emma's mind getting to stay up that late) We will go to a sound and light show projected onto The Royal Château Of Blois. Can't wait!

Here are some dragons that come out the window of Masion De Magic every half hour⬇️⬇️⬇️

  1. Holly, ton histoire est très interessante! Je pense que la Maison de Magique est un peu comme "Puzzling World" à Wanaka en Nouvelle-Zélande. Mais il n'y a pas des dragons à "Puzzling World" :-)
