The Adventure

Emma writes
Day 13

Today we went to two châteux and got a large icecream.  In the first château we got a set of headphones with an iphone which told a story for the kids.  Holly choose the adult's one; she is cuckoo!  The adult's headphones were boring, they didn't tell a story, they just said facts about the palace.  My favourite room was the bedroom of the five queens because it has a pink bed and a table with roses.

When we got the icecream Mum wasn't looking too straight at the icecreams.  They were as big as my face and she just bought us them.  They had vanilla icecream on top with chocolate and a waffle cone.

The next had a peacock. James patted it.  There was a class of french children, they were having their afternoon tea and the peacock wanted some food.

When we were on our way home there were fountains that spray up water any time.  It wasn't a round fountain it was just lots of fountains in a line which sprayed.  Holly, James and I jumped all around in it. Holly wasn't there for long.  James and I walked all the way through and sat in the fountain.  We were soaking wet so we couldn't go in the supermarket.

When Mum was in the shop there was a man who tried to talk to us and said "come look" but James and I hid behind the rubbish bin.  Someone put a half bottle of water in the bin and the man went over and put his hand in the bin and took out the water and drunk it.
