The treasure hunt

James writes:
Day 10

Today was our last day of lessons at Coeur De France.  We had a treasure hunt around Sancerre.  We had to find a well, a clock tower, a carving, the tower, a church(protestant), a arch that is from 12th century, a gargoyle and some other things.

Our train to the next town got cancelled so we had to take a car into Cosne to change our train tickets. There are no trains between Paris and Sancerre because of the strike and the flooding!  We will need to take a taxi and go to another town to take a different route.

Today we went to the boulangerie to buy a nice cake for afternoon tea.

Holly and Emma bought chocolate eclairs with chocolate filling.

I bought Flan Nature - a custard tart which is the best thing I have tasted in my life.

  4. Miam, miam!!! James - tu dois demander à Le Panier Boulangerie (à Christchurch) de faire les Flans Nature. Comme ça, tu peux les manger chaque jour en Nouvelle-Zélande!
