We Had A Splash!

Day 16

Wow, almost two weeks have gone by. Today's little adventure started when we walked down to the bakery to get the baguette for our lunch (along with a couple croissants for our morning tea). Then waited at the bus stop and then we were off to the pool.
We raced inside, just to find we were early! After a look through the window at the pool we discovered a vending machine... selling folded up togs! (Weird) The people at the counter gave us bracelets. When we went into the locker room we would just press the bracelets against the lock close and open like magic!

Finally in the pool the first thing we did was to go on the hydro slide. It wa one of those ones were you get stuck in the middle and have to butt shuffle the rest of the way down. It was a lot more fun in you went down three at a time on your stomach. Next we went outside to the other hydroslides (outside was ridiculously warm) on which we would put a ball on our heads and try and make it to the bottom.
Finally I went in the massive pool. At one end it was 5 meters deep! After 2 hours we were ready to get out.

After we went for a picnic on the grass. Mosquitos attached us and the grass got all over our food. We finished eating and hurried to the bus stop because mum didn't want to be late. Turns out the bus didn't come for another hour, so we sat there while I got hay fever from all the freshly cut grass. When the bus finally came we were all pretty ready to go

Later that night mum decided for our last dinner in blois we would go the a fancy (kind of) restaurant. I just had fish and icecream(not together(the icecream was a lot more cream than ice)).

Sorry for the late post (I slept till 9)
Au Revoir
